Due to Saxo Banks policy, we need a valid/active Legal Entity Identifier-code (LEI-code) for all corporate clients. If you have corporate clients with LEI-codes that are expired, please make sure that your end-customer renews the LEI-code before 1 December 2022. Your end-customer can renew their LEI-code via, for instance, the website of the KVK.
What happens the LEI is not renewed by 1 December 2022?
If a LEI-code is not renewed by 1 December 2022, the account will be set to ‘reduced exposure’. So it is important to check if the LEI-codes of your end-customer are still active and if not, have the end-customer renew the LEI-code before the deadline.
