Around the migration, corporate action bookings will be processed differently. There are 3 scenarios:
- The record date and pay date of the dividend and the allocation of the accrual to end-customers take place before the migration.
During the migration weekend, the accrued dividends will be transferred to Saxo. On the pay date, the event will be processed on the end-customer's Saxo account. Corporate actions has an inflight break (but no impact on the end-customer).
- The record date and the pay date of the dividend take place before the migration, but the allocation of the accrual to the end-customer is processed after the migration.
For these dividends we will book a debit cash on DBA and a credit cash in SaxoPartnerConnect. The comment in the cash booking will be ‘Nagekomen Dividend’.
- The record date is before, but the pay date is after the migration. The allocation of the accrual to the end-customer is processed after the migration.
For these dividends, we will also process the event initially in Binck and then process the CA event in Saxo systems as cash bookings.
